MPhil Research Proposal Titled “Development of a Leguminous Leaf Meal Block as an animal feed” was selected for a grant under the Coordinated Thematic Research Programme of National Science Foundation, Sri Lanka. Grant number was RG/2006/TFRD/04. I was the MPhil student and My Supervisor Prof Sujatha Premaratna received the Grant.
    8. A grant worth of Rs 3 million was received from Fonterra Brands Lanka (Pvt) Limited for a collaborative research project titled “Herbage parameters of the grasses and fodders commonly used for livestock feeding in Sri Lanka and establishment of model pasture/fodder demonstration unit” in 2016. Research partners were Coconut Research Institute (CRI), Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya and  Fonterra Brands Lanka (Pvt) Limited. Unfortunately Management, CRI did not allow to undertake the project.
